katie duncan

What a fun summer we are having! From Florida, to Oregon, to Arizona and even staying home a few weeks. I am growing so fast and talking all the time. Just yesterday I put 6 words together. I actually put more together than that, but my Mom can't seem to understand what I am saying all the time.

TWINS!

OK...... .so this will be the test. The test to see who really pays attention to our blog, as well as a test to see if Chris, Katie and I can survive this. Can you believe it? We are still in shock! We don't know the gender yet, and beleive me, the day we know will be the day I think I can relax a bit more. I am so anxious to know. We have no clue how this could happen.........no clue. :)
They are due February 20, so considering twins usually come a bit early, we might beat you Jill!

Spoiled Rotten

Mommy and I went to Oregon for 2 weeks at the end of July. We had such a great time and enjoyed seeing all of our cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents....everyone! Nana and Papa were so good to me and loved to spoil me. We were sure sad when it was time to leave and of course, can't wait until we are able to go back again!

The Malheur County Fair

The fair was such a fun time. The first day my Mom took me it was not what I expected. Cousins Jessica, Kayle and Bryant were all showing steers and so there was quite a bit of standing and waiting time which I am not very good at. However, in between the waiting we went and saw the pigs, sheep, birds, bunnies and lots of other great animals there. That was fun.

The second day we went my Mommy let me go on some rides. I had fun..........I think......but it was quite a new experience for me and I just wansn't sure what to think. Although I did know that I didn't want to get off the ride when it was done. Mommy, Kara, Megan and Kayla all had a good laugh though while I was riding.

A special post

This is a special post, reserved for my Aunt Sue and Uncle Stan. I have been waiting for a chance to pose with them and that chance came when we partied after Cannon's blessing. We were so glad that we could make it for Cannon's special day!

Gone Fishing

My Mom loves having weenie roasts and fishing at the pond and so we were adventurous one night and bought all the goodies. We lasted a good 20 minutes before being blown out of the water and having practically all of our food blown over too. I didn't get a chance to fish but I was really good at being in charge of the kool-aid and keeping an eye on our worms.

The real deal

I am a pro at washing cars! I did it one time. In Oregon. In the back yard. With my wash cloth. My Nana thought I did a great job on her car. :)

Auntie Yaya

I LOVE my YAYA! I didn't tell this to anybody, especially not to Uncle Tye, but Yaya might be my favorite. My favorite Aunt that is. We had so much fun together while we were in Oregon. And, isn't she pretty?

Kittycats

While at my Nana & Papa's house I got to play with the kittycats every day! They weren't sure about me at first as I am the littlest friend that has tried to play with them lately, however, by the end of the 2 weeks a few of them let me hold and pet them. I really wanted to carry them around like I do my babies but they were just a bit heavier than I could handle.

Sunnnnnglasses

I LOVE my new sunglasses that miss Holly got me a few weeks ago. I look super "chick" in them.
My mom also bought me a new doll named Lily. She was trying to replace Elmo (who I got sick on one night) because she wasn't sure if she could repair the damage. Elmo doesn't sing anymore after going through the washing machine but I am not about to let him go. So now I share my love with Lily too. They both get to sleep with me at night.

Papa comes to visit

My Grandpa came to visit us during the month of July and we had such a great time! We became friends really fast and we hung out together a few nights so that Mommy and Daddy could go on some dates. He also took me to the Opry Mills Outlets and we rode the horsies (fake ones) and ate a fun dinner.
